The Youth ministry here in the Ottawa Church is made up of preteens (ages 10-12) and teens (ages 13 and older). These ministries strive to help our youth develop a stronger connection to family, a deeper understanding of God, and a devoted walk with Christ. This happens through great fellowship, teaching, discipleship, and lots of fun! When each individual teen is ready to make a personal commitment to Christ, we work with their family to study the bible with them and help them live the life of a disciple of Jesus.
The Ottawa Church of Christ strives to build a strong, energetic campus ministry of disciples from Algonquin, Carleton and the University of Ottawa. We help students to strive to love God, love one another, and share his message of grace with others on our campuses. We have weekly Bible discussion groups on our different campuses and activities throughout the month. If you would like to find out more, please don’t hesitate to contact us through the above menu.
We are a group of single professionals spread out through the Ottawa area. Though we have an incredible diversity of age, race, education, and background, we are unified in our Biblical convictions as we live in undivided devotion to God. Whether you’re a single parent, have just graduated from college, or are a mature single, you will feel welcomed and are encouraged to participate as we inspire each other in our faith to become more like Jesus Christ.
Marrieds and Family
The Marriage and Family Ministry in our church exists to assist couples and families in every stage of relationship development. Creating a God-honoring marriage or a close knit Christ-centred family forms our vision for this ministry.
The purpose of a Christian marriage is clear – to help husbands and wives love God and one another more deeply. As a church, we aim to accomplish this goal by encouraging couples to develop relational habits that honour God; habits that are built on Christian principles.
In small groups, husbands, wives and parents can connect regularly with other couples for fellowship, encouragement, and support. Couples can also explore couple-to-couple mentorship to help get the most out of their marriage and parenting to help navigate through the challenging times.
